The Educator Dashboard’s products and services include Co:Writer Universal, Snap&Read Universal, Word Bank Universal, Quizbot and the Universal Protocol for Accommodations in Reading (uPAR), which is provided by Don Johnston Incorporated (together, “DJI,” “we,” “our,” and “us”). The Educator Dashboard is solely used by Educators who have an Organizational Account. The following privacy policy covers what we collect on our servers and why, what we may do with that information, and how that information is handled for such Educators. Information provided is subject to our Terms of Service. Any capitalized terms used but not defined within this Privacy Policy have the meaning given to them in our Terms of Service.

Google Analytics customers can view a variety of reports about how visitors interact with their website so they can improve it. Google Analytics collects information anonymously. It reports website trends without identifying individual visitors.

What we do with your information

Don Johnston Incorporated does not sell, share, rent or otherwise disclose your information collected by the Educator Dashboard. Information is only disclosed when:

We do not monitor or view any Personally Identifiable information or content stored in the Educator Dashboard. Below lists the limited circumstances where your information may be accessed by our employees.

Aggregate, non-identifiable information is solely used to enhance the Educator Dashboard and support implementation..

Data Storage, Transfer, and Removal

Data is stored on servers located in the United States. If you live outside of the United States and have laws governing data collection and use that differ from U.S. law, then you acknowledge and agree that you are transferring your Personal Information outside of those regions to the United States and that, by providing your Personal Information, you consent to that transfer.

All data stored on our servers is encrypted. All transmission of information is encrypted and protected using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL). Passwords are stored using a hash function.

In the event that your Personal Information may be compromised, we will attempt to notify you electronically so that you can take appropriate protective steps.

All data is removed within 30 days of an account’s termination.

Changes to the Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Policy at any time, but you will be notified on the Educator Dashboard’s login page or by some other means such as email. We will not change how we use any Personal Information in any material way without providing notice of the change via email to you and obtaining consent to any new uses. If you do not agree with the new policies, you may reject them, but you will need to terminate your account and/or stop using the Educator Dashboard. Your continued use constitutes your acceptance of the new Privacy Policy.
